MailRail support

Help when you
need it.

Before contacting us

A few details help us diagnose the issue

Please include the MailRail version and build shown in Settings, your macOS version and Mac model, the action you were attempting, the exact wording of any error, and whether the issue affects one account or every connected account. Do not send passwords, OAuth codes, access or refresh tokens, complete message bodies, or confidential attachments. A cropped screenshot is usually sufficient.

Account connection

Google authorization issues

If Google says MailRail is blocked during pre-release testing, that Google account must be listed as an approved test user until the OAuth app is published and verified. If authorization expires or is revoked, reconnect the account from MailRail rather than sharing a password. Removing an account from MailRail revokes its Google authorization and removes its saved credential and local account metadata from the Mac.

Finder sharing

Enable Share with MailRail

If Share with MailRail is not visible, choose Edit Extensions… from Finder’s Share menu and enable it. MailRail must have at least one connected account before a shared file can be addressed and sent.
